Our scrunchies are made to suit a wide range of hair types. They’re constructed to feel secure without harsh pulling.

We’ve refined the fit through repeated wear-testing to keep them comfortable on both fine and thick hair.

The feel may vary depending on styling preference, but the goal is the same: a soft, secure hold without tension.

We use smooth, natural fabrics selected to feel soft against the hair and minimise friction in everyday wear. Each scrunchie is made to hold comfortably—without tugging—so hair can move naturally.

You can wear them on your wrist or attach one to a bag handle—an easy way to keep it close while staying polished. Each piece is finished to look intentional beyond the hair, as a discreet styling accent.

Contourose scrunchies are designed to make everyday styling feel instantly more considered. In seconds, a simple ponytail or bun looks softer, fuller, and more put-together—without feeling overdone.

What sets them apart is the way each piece stands on its own: sculptural volume, refined finishing, and materials chosen for their feel and longevity — including Italian silk sourced from Como.

Our Rose styles are hand-draped and hand-finished in Warsaw, giving each one a distinctive shape and character. The result is a quiet statement: unique, polished, and made to last.

Contourose pieces are made from carefully sourced fabrics from Italy, the United States,
and Poland. Our main materials include Italian silk, hemp–silk blends, and cotton velvet, chosen for their feel, durability, and refined finish.

Silk is sourced from Como, Italy; hemp–silk blends come from Colorado; and our cotton velvet is produced in Poland. Elastics, trims, and finishing components are sourced from trusted Polish manufacturers.

We use real silk sourced from Como, Italy. Alongside silk, we work with other natural fabrics such as hemp–silk blends and cotton velvet.

Our fabrics are selected for regular wear and designed to keep their texture and
appearance with proper care.

As with all natural textiles, subtle signs of wear can develop over time—part of the material’s character with use.

Our elastics are selected and wear-tested for everyday use, designed to hold their shape through repeated wear. Like any elastic, they may relax gradually over time, but they are chosen to remain comfortable, functional and beautifully throughout their lifespan.

Handle your scrunchie with care and store it in the provided cotton pouch when not in use to help preserve its shape and finish. Because care varies by material, detailed instructions are provided on the product label, with additional guidance on each product page under Materials section.

We source with a focus on quality, transparency, and responsible production—working directly with suppliers in Europe and the United States. Materials are chosen for origin, performance, and suitability for everyday wear.

Many of the fabrics and components used in our products are sourced from certified
suppliers whose materials meet recognized international standards.

These standards ensure strict environmental requirements, including the absence of harmful chemicals and responsible water management, as well as social standards such as fair working conditions and the prohibition of child and forced labor.

Certification details may vary depending on the specific material and supplier.

Contourose products are produced in Europe, with manufacturing taking place in selected facilities in Poland. Production is carried out in close collaboration with local workshops and specialised partners.

This approach allows us to maintain close oversight throughout key stages of production, ensure consistent quality, and work within established European production standards.

Contourose remains closely involved throughout the production process. Designs are developed in-house and refined through hands-on collaboration with our manufacturing partners.

Each piece is tested in use before being introduced into wider production, allowing us to fine-tune details and create products that feel intuitive, reliable, and rewarding to wear.

Contourose products and components — including packaging and labels — are made in collaboration with local manufacturers and independent makers based in Warsaw, Poland, and the surrounding region.

Our collections includes permanent styles that remain consistently available, alongside pieces offered through pre-orders or released as limited drops in select designs and colors.

This approach helps us manage materials responsibly, produce with intention, and maintain consistent quality—while offering customers access to distinctive pieces that feel considered and unique.

Contourose products are made either partially or entirely by hand, depending on the design and material.

All orders are fulfilled from Warsaw, Poland. Orders placed before 2:00 PM CET are typically dispatched the same business day; orders placed after are dispatched the next business day.

(2:00 PM CET = 1:00 PM UK time (GMT) / 8:00 AM US Eastern Time / 5:00 AM US Pacific Time).

We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, BLIK, Klarna, and selected local payment
options depending on your location.

Payments are processed through Shopify’s secure checkout.

The total shown at checkout is the final price — presented as a gross amount and inclusive of applicable taxes and duties, with no additional charges on delivery.

We can cancel or modify an order only before it is processed for dispatch. If you need a change, contact us as soon as possible at contact@contourose.com.

If the order has already been processed, you can return it after delivery in line with our Returns Policy.

For pre-orders, if the shipping date changes from what was communicated at
purchase, you may cancel for a full refund.

We don’t operate on a regular sales schedule. Occasionally, promotional codes may be offered for specific initiatives, subject to their own terms.

We offer permanent styles alongside pre-orders and limited drops in select colors and designs. If an item is temporarily unavailable, it may return via restock or a future release depending on the material and color.

You can return your order within 14 days of delivery. The return window starts on the day the parcel is delivered to you or to a third party you designate.

You are protected by statutory consumer rights. All Contourose products are covered by a 2-year conformity period under EU and Polish consumer law.

This applies to manufacturing defects and material faults, but not to damage caused by misuse or natural wear. To file a claim, contact us with your order number and photos of the issue.

Refunds are typically processed within 5 business days from the date we receive the returned products. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow an additional 3–5 business days for your bank or provider to post the amount.

We don’t offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different item, please return your order in line with our Returns Policy and place a new order separately.
